Clean Water Cup - 4v4 Soccer Tournament

Presented by the Ames Soccer Club & Clean Water Soccer

The Clean Water Cup is a professionally run soccer tournament in partnership with local clubs and other organizations. A Clean Water Cup tournament will contain all of the components of a typical weekend soccer tournament, but...children, youth, and even adults get to play soccer and help change the lives of thousands of people across the world at the same time.

Funds raised from the Ames tournament will go directly to a specific clean water well project in another country and to the Timothy Ryan Jenks Memorial.

Timothy Ryan Jenks Memorial

A foundation account is being created in honor of Timothy Jenks that will award an annual Scholarship at Ames Middle School.  The award will recognize graduating 8th grade students who live life with passion, participate in extracurricular activities (sports, music, etc), and demonstrate the willingness to apply their passion to what they do as they move into high school.  The family hopes the recipients will use the award to help fund those passions, whether to buy a piece of sports equipment, a new musical instrument, attend an important camp related to their activities, or a related expense.  The size and number of awards will depend on the success of the fund raising.

Ames Soccer Club is proud to donate its share of the 2014  Clean Water Cup revenue to the Timothy Jenks memorial.
