Ames Hurricanes is a group of teams (coed, ladies and men) playing in various leagues and competitions in central Iowa. Options for weekly pickup games at HYSC and Nevada Fieldhouse.

Beginning 2026, Ames Hurricanes will no longer collect fees for any of its events and this will be done 100% through partnerships with other soccer entities and sporting facilities.

April to October - Wednesday evening outdoor soccer at Hunziker Soccer Complex

November to March - Wednesday evening indoor soccer at Nevada Fieldhouse

All year - Sunday morning indoor soccer at Nevada Fieldhouse

April to June and September to October - CICS League Soccer in Des Moines and the surrounding area.

Second Weekend of September - Ancient Rangers Tournament in Blaine, MN
